These are some other books in the
Anna's Friends series that you might enjoy
Meet Anna's Friends, the same seven kiddos in the original Anna's Friends series, only at a younger age. Also there are books that Anna's Friends love to do such as drawing, praying, and coloring. And for the big Anna's Friends lovers, there are books about the motivational gifts for educators and teachers.
Anna's Friends for the little ones
Anna's Friends go to Preschool was written for children going to preschool and up to the first-grade. Ages may vary depending on their ability to understand the context of the stories. This "reading with help" book aims to assist parents in learning their children's God-given motivation in a fun and engaging way.
Anna's friends are very close. Starting preschool brings them even closer together. In this full color book, Anna's Friends go to Preschool, there are four (4) wonderful stories about being a really good friend, and most of all, sharing God's love. The four stories are:
#1 Anna Can Be Bossy
#2 A Butterfly Goes to Preschool
#3 New Friends and Lizards
#4 A Good Fun Bible Lesson

for children in preschool to first grade
Children of all ages love to color. The illustrations in this coloring book are taken from those in Anna's Friends go to Preschool so children can color along as they read the four wonderful stories about being a really good friend, and most of all, about sharing God's love.
There is a unique feature to this coloring book. At the bottom of each illustration is either 1) a description telling what is happening in the picture above, or 2) a question from the story to remind the child what the story is about while he or she is coloring.
For example, on page 24, at the bottom of the picture, "A butterfly is sittng on Daniel's shoulder" is taken from story #2, A Butterfly Goes to Preschool in Anna's Friends go to Preschool. Children ages 4-5 are learning to reason, so this style of learning will help them develop this skill.

Learn the Basics of Drawing
In today’s world of economics, it has become increasingly difficult to squeeze in a portion of the family budget for private art lessons … or any other creative endeavor unless a family is above the average income scale in American Society. It just doesn't seem to fit the “important”, the “priority”, or the “necessary”, however, I believe that developing the creative mind is as important as developing the intellectual mind. If we could truly understand the creative mind, then we could better understand what motivates children and begin at an early age to offer options that are equally as important as reading, writing and arithmetic.
Drawing is most likely the very first form of art, and existed as far back as time itself. It is foudational to any art medium. Most all artists learn to draw before they learn to paint or use color chalk and pencils. Many draw ideas for their paintings in a sketch book before converting them to finished works of art.
One cannot draw a 3-dimensional rendering without frst understanding light, tone and value, contour and compotions. These are some of the basics you will learn in this book.

a personal prayer journal for children
Do you want to help your child learn to pray more? I remember when I first started. It was a little bit scary. But the more I talked to God the easier it became. I discovered that he’s really easy to talk with. I think you’ll find that to be true too!
The goal of this prayer journal is to give your child a way to record what he or she talks to God about. They can do that by writing down their prayers in the space that says, “My prayer to God” in the pages provided. There are 100 places for them to write down their prayers.
Whens he believes God is answering her prayer – even if she thinks he’s saying NO - then write the answer in the space that says, “God’s answer to me”. You will see it beneath your prayer to God.
At the end of the 100 spaces, there are some blank pages for her to write down anything that she wants to write about. This is her personal journal that will help her build her faith and relationship with God.
I have written an example in the front of the book. Have fun!

Color Me Love
Coloring Book - #1
I hope you have fun coloring some of our favorite pictures from the books in the Anna’s Friends series! There is a picture of Anna and her friends on the last page that is bigger. You can color it and put it on your wall if you want to.
I chose the title, Color Me Love, because the motivational gifts are used to express God’s love to others. The Anna’s Friends Color Me Love coloring books are a fun way for you to get to know Anna and her friends a little better. There are questions before each image that help you remember a little about the picture from books #1 through #8.
For more fun, there are some puzzles at the end of each section that you’ll enjoy doing. All of the answers to the puzzles are at the end of the coloring book in case you need some help, but really try and find them on your own first. It’s more fun that way. And, the words in the sentences scattered throughout the Color Me Love coloring book can be colored too! I hope you have fun!

Color Me Love
Coloring Book - #2
This is book #2 of the Color Me Love coloring book. When we use our motivational gifts, we receive God’s life force to give his love. Helping others always gives us life, and no matter what our motivational gift is, we all have opportunities to help others throughout our lives.
The Anna’s Friends Color Me Love #2 coloring book is a fun way for you to get to know Sarah, Jesse, Cayden, and Daniel a little better. These four (4) characters are loads of fun to be around and very energetic, especially Jesse who has the gift of service.
Just like the first Color Me Love coloring book, there are multiple choice questions before each image that help you remember a little about the pictures from books #5 through #8. And, there are puzzles at the end of each section too. All of the answers are at the end of the book in case you need some help, but it’s more fun to find them on your own first.

For Parents and Instructors
When you were a child, perhaps as young as seven or eight years old, do you remember parents, teachers, or friends and family members asking you that all-consuming question, “What do you want to be when you grow up, Susie or Sam?” And then, just a year later you were asked again, and then again, and yet again, until you were in high school? How many times did your answer change? Are you doing now what you envisioned doing—when you grew up? Most people you talk with will probably have the same answer. No! The reason may be as simple as this: that we never discovered our gifts.
In Discovering Your Student’s Motivational Gifts, you will learn why your students respond to one another the way they do. You will learn why they get along with some children quite well and others not so well. Some of your students will do their homework religiously and some maybe not so. Some may disrupt the class on a regular basis and some will be so quiet you’ll barely know they are even in class. Enjoy this journey of discovery!

David was 10-years old and in my Sunday school class. He was disruptive and prevented the other students from listening. Nothing I tried worked. I finally reached my wits end and sent him to sit with his parents. He was furious and shouted, “I’m never coming to your class again.” We had a momentary stare down. I silently prayed. The next words out of my mouth were, “David, do you like to fish?” This little fellow softened. His face turned from anger to wonder. His eyes opened wide as he calmly and curiously answered, “Yes.”
The day I took David fishing was the day both of our lives turned around. He began to engage with the others in the class and became one of my best students. David’s primary motivational gift was exhortation. His parents didn’t understand his need to be the center of attention. Because of this, they were damaging David’s ability to express himself. He had a motivational gift of exhortation. These kiddos need to be the center of attention.
